Default Re: Canadian bank but my savings are in USD

Thanks Cal. I checked the OFX file for my USD account and it is infact saying
<CURDEF> CDN.

The workaround I've been doing is to change my acct to CDN, import the file,
then change it back to USD. but it's been a real pain in the ar8se.

I wish I can contact the bmo technical team and ask them to switch it, but I
highly doubt they'd do anything about it.

From the AccountList, right-click the account, and choose
AccountDetails.

Change the account currency to US dollar. If the account is already
that way, then I would check the OFX file you are downloading to see
what it says "<CURDEF> USD" or "<CURDEF> CAD" for the account.

Default Canadian bank but my savings are in USD

Hi, I have a USD account with Bank Of Montreal in Canada. I am finding that
each time I try to upload the Money file to my Money H&B 2007, it’s asking me
to change the currency settings to CDN as it does not seem to recognize that
the funds are actually in USD.

I know the shortcut to this would be to switch between CDN and USD, but it’s
a real annoyance when you have to do it every other week.

Does anyone know of any other way to do this?
