This is what I'm waiting for. I've used Ultrasoft Money on Palm and none of
the current WM offerings match it for either functionality of synchronisation
stability.

http://www.ultrasoft.com/Money/WindowsMobile/ indicates a new one on
the horizon that should be worth a look.

I'm working with Spb Finance and experience the same hangups with the
synch process. At first I thought it was because of the large Money
file on my desktop, but even synching just cash and a few other accounts
for 30 days hangs SPB on my new WM5 Treo 700vx. Very dissapointing as I
love this device in every other respect - but losing pocket money
functionality is huge. Anyone else have any alternatives/workarounds?

I had started using the Export to Excel option and then basically
re-entering the transactions when I returned to my computer. I was able to
get Money 2006 working on the Windows Mobile 5 device that I had, until I
upgraded to 2007, thinking that they would have provided a 2007 client. I
guess that they want people to access their personal information from MSN's
servers, not a bright idea.

Default WM5 Client Alternatives

I'm using Money 2005 and have always used the Pocket PC client which
does most of what I use it for. I recently upgraded my pocket device and
it is Windows Mobile 5.0 based.

I've tried the demo versions of SPB Finance and Inesoft Cash Organizer
and am not really too impressed with either of them. They both seem to
be quite feature rich but the syncing on both of them continually got
hung, caused corruption in my Money file etc. . I'm wondering if that is
because I'm on Money 2005 or if they are just like that.

Anybody had a decent experience with a WM5 client (either of the above
or others)?

Thanks.
