The side buttons work with my Microsoft Intelimouse.

In the Mouse Properties of the control panel, be sure the left side
button is set for Back (default) and the right for Forward
(default). My mouse driver is 5.0.174.0 dated 5/15/03.

Default Money 2006 Ignores Back / Forward Mouse Buttons

A while back, I noticed that MS$ 2006 quit responding to my forward / back
mouse buttons. I now have to select the back / forward arrows at the top
left of the window. Obviously, not earth-shattering; just exasperating.
All of my other applications respond normally to the mouse buttons. I don't
recall having done anything out of the ordinary to my configuration, so
could it be that this is a side effect of one of MS's Windows updates?
