| I have recently experienced the same problem mentioned here and in other threads and seen your responses. Unfortunately, while I have tried the solution that seems to work in many instances, I have been unsuccessful. Do you have any other suggestions? Regards. That has the side effect of letting payee names that include unescaped '&' characters in the name to be fed thru. In the case of CitiCards, I am surprised you had the problem. CitiCards have a proper direct OFX server, and are normally good about knowing to how to treat the special characters. It was a Money bug that those OFX rules were being inappropriately applied to QIF files. But the work around has been reported to work with improper OFX files too. |

All of a sudden, the download transaction details refuse to appear. Your fix (ShowStandardize... checkbox) did the trick. What does that open do exactly? I'm curious to know how this suddenly broke for me, Andrew, and I imagine, countless others. I was about to throw in the towel and switch to Quicken. Of course I resisted, but was definitely pulling out my hair with this one. glfrankel |

Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles or Tools-> InternetOptions-> Delete-> DeleteFiles. Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair again. Go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound. This appears to be a global (inter-file) setting. Download again. |

| On Money 2006, I had regularly been able to download monthly statements and have it reconcile the banks' transactions with how I had recorded them. Now all of a sudden, on a credit card account and bank accounts, it goes through the motions and says there's a number of items to review, but the downloaded transactions do not appear. That is "Items to review (7)" appears on the left, but in the transaction list there are only the items I entered and nonthing to reconcile. After this started, it still worked with one credit card account. Any idea what's happening and how this can be fixed? |
