| Money now treats all removable devices/media devices in the same choice as floppies IF the file system is a general read/write file system. (This criteria is not generally met by writable CDs in the absence of packet writing software like DirectCD.) I don't know how many versions this has been true for. | I know that this is off topic, but I have found that XP Home is treating my usb disk drive as a floppy. Thus MS Money will gladly back up the Floppy to it. I set it to every two weeks back up to floppy and when the time comes around it announces that it can not find the G: Drive and I simply insert the usb Jump Drive (you can now often find a 64MB one on sale for under $25) and let the backup continue. Then you click the safely remove hardware and remove it until next time. Not a CD, but just as easy and now very expensive.
