| This was my first response from MS Money Support to ordering from Canada "Hi Terry, Please go to the following link and click Download Now: http://www.microsoft.com/money/Produ...tive_tab=order . On the Billing page of the download you should have the option to enter a state/province, and zip/postal code. If you are not seeing those options, it may be because the regional settings are defaulting to the Microsoft Canada addresses. If you are on the Microsoft Canada pages, go to the Homepage and click the Canada (change location) link at the top to reset it to United States. As you are a North American customer your region should not prevent you from downloading. If you are continuing to experience problems, you should contact the Microsoft Online Store at 1-866-656-5426 for further assistance with the order. As a Canadian myself, I understand your frustration but assure you that the product can be downloaded from your location. I hope this information helps, Patricia R. Microsoft Online Support Services" Well of course the website does not list Canada, so I tried the number. After finding out I was from Canada, they put me in the "Canadian Queue". After waiting a few minutes there the Canada rep picked up and said I can order any product by phone and gave me a phone number. The phone number led to the Canada Spare Parts desk who said I can not order S/W at this number, only H/W. She pointed me back to the same website again. After explaining that this is why I was calling in the first place, she said I should call the site owners, Digital River, in the morning for support ! I going out to purchase Quicken Money Manager tonight, I've had enough ! |

So I went online as a last resort, only to find as the previous poster that Canadians cannot order the US products (no Canada option in the ordering page, even though it's a downloaded product!) According to http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/422.aspx there is no current 'Canadian' edition, and it is obvious that what is in the stores is not the latest version, so why would I want it. It's always been equivalent to 'standard' or whatever the low end product is, and I want Deluxe features. My Money 2005 came OEM with my last computer, and now I want to upgrade to 2007 on a different computer - what to do? They sure don't seem to want Canadians to be able to buy this product! Argh! |

| I ordered the download version and gave a phoney US address. No rebates though. Your best bet is that if somebody you know visits a store in the US, that person could buy the boxed version of Deluxe. Sams and Costco offer it without rebates, and I think they will let a non-member shop on a trial basis but get charged a surcharge percentage. I wish I had a better answer. |

| hi, I heavily use the "forecast cashflow" functionality in the trail version I've downloaded. I recently purchased the Canadian version of Money and this feature is not included. So, I tried to purchase a full version of Deluxe, but "Canada" is not listed in the drop down for countries.. I can't find Deluxe in any stores here. How can I order Deluxe even though I live in Canada? Thanks, |
