| That was a very quick fix...file repair brought the balance to where it should be. Not sure why it was corrupted, but it's 100% perfect now. Thanks! See if http://support.microsoft.com/default...13&Product=mny applies. In particular check for a symptom where the register gives a different balance when the view is changed to show only unreconciled transactions or in some other way. Another idea is to restore that 6 month old backup to a different filename. Open it, and "print" the register (in landscape). I would print to a PDF with CutePDF or PDF995 to save paper. Then open the current file, using the list at the bottom of the File menu. Compare the balance at various dates. |

| Ok, so I've used Monday for years, going back to 1999. In every case, no issues balancing MS Money vs my paper statements. (I automatically download the transactions, then manually balance once a month to confirm.) Now, out of nowhere, my starting balance is off by $14.22. I know it was correct last month. So, I clear last month figuring that will get rid of the issue, but that $14.22 is still off. I went back about 6 months, nothing doing. I checked the balance manually and it all adds up! So, I can't put in an adjustment because I know it's correct. I did look to see if there were any transactions that were no longer marked as "Reconciled", but they all are. Any ideas? I need to get rid of this $14.22 that's off...and it's nothing recent. |
