| Hi Cal, about the audio clips, Money 2004 Canadian Edition had audio help clips on every screen that you could choose to listen to if you needed it. I just noticed that Money 2006 doesn't have this anymore. Just when you need it kind of thing. I'll check out the videos though. Also, the auto-reconcile setting did the trick. Thanks for the tips! | Thanks Dick. Yes, it does seem they forgot us Canadians in this version. Nice touch with the "eh". ![]() Did I read correctly somewhere that they amalgamated the Canadian and American version in 2005/2006? I remember Money 2004 being much better. Also, I might be losing my mind, but where did the audio help clips go? Are they still there and I can't find them? The help file is not very good at all. You search "reconcile" and it doesn't bring up anything! And I looked everywhere, but I can't find the old setting for "auto-reconcile downloaded transactions". Anyone know? Thank you "Dick Watson" wrote: - quote - > 401(k) is probably your best choice. | 401(k) is probably your best choice. Money has kinda forgotten about you Canadians, eh? As to showing the transfers, see http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=14 for one scenario that's probably similar. (I don't know what I don't know about RRSPs, so hopefully this 401(k) centric answer steers you in the right direction.) As to applying monthly interest amounts automatically, well, that's harder. If your RRSP is just a cash account, you could schedule Investment Income:Interest deposits to the Investment Cash Account. But Money won't calculate the amount automagically. If, OTOH, the RRSP is invested in Investments held in the Investment Account, there is no way to schedule Investment Activities besides Buy Investment/CD from a Cash Account. | Hi, how can I add an RRSP in Money 2006? When I add an account, I select "Investment" > "Retirement". RRSPs are mentioned up to this point, but they aren't listed under the Retirement section. I guess I could choose 401K, but what about the settings afterwards. Ideally, here's what I'd like to do: show contribution transfers from my other accounts, and apply monthly interest amounts automatically. Thank you |
