Default Re: Reconciliation Suggestion

There are some issues, IIRC, with downloaded transactions getting marked as
"reconciled" by virtue alone of having been downloaded. This obviously can
cause starting balance problems.

People who do the downloaded transaction data thing will have to dive in
here to help beyond this. I don't use the stuff. Evil incarnate. All Pain.
Precious Little Gain.

Default Reconciliation Suggestion

I have had a terrible time with my starting balance changing when I go to
Balance a new statement. I know this is caused by previously reconciled
transactions being deleted, or new transactions being flagged as
recondiled... PLEASE put a setting to NOT ALLOW CHANGING AMOUNT on reconciled
transactions. I know a warning is given, but put a flag. (I may have
inadvertently clicked OK when warned, but I don't think I did. I really
believe there is a program bug because I have used Money since Windows 3.1
and have never had this problem except for a couple of times since then, but
have had it about 5 different times since upgrading to 2007.)
