| While you are thinking about it, consider making an extra backup on a USB flash drive, as you should do every few weeks at least-- in case your hard drive fails. In microsoft.public.money, Paul Dennis wrote: - quote - > How do you disable it for online access? I have other account with the same
AccountList-> ManageOnlineServices-> Nationwide-> StopUsingOnlineServices-> OK.> bank, not sure if that's relevant. You will be disabling both accounts for online access, and re-enabling. There will be two pairs of accounts to merge. Then set it up again, and do the merges. - quote - > thx > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Paul Dennis wrote: > > > > Hi - I have an account which auto downloads transactions form my bank account > > > (Nationwide), however since there is a bug in MS which stopps the adj balance > > > working I though it a good idea to close the account in money and then create > > > a new account in money to take it's place and down the transactions > > > automatically again, however it doesn't work - help. > > > > > If I close the account it still links to the bank to download transactions > > > (even if I rename it as well) and if I create a new account it asks if it's > > > link to the bank. I would open the first account, and disable it for online access. I would then set the account up for online access again. Expect to get another account with downloaded transactions. Merge the accounts, ignoring any warning. Know that you could restore the backup if you don't like the result. |

| Hi - I have an account which auto downloads transactions form my bank account (Nationwide), however since there is a bug in MS which stopps the adj balance working I though it a good idea to close the account in money and then create a new account in money to take it's place and down the transactions automatically again, however it doesn't work - help. If I close the account it still links to the bank to download transactions (even if I rename it as well) and if I create a new account it asks if it's link to the bank. If I say yes it doesn't create it since it see the closed account and if I say yes I get a new account but with out the auto link to the bank. Any ideas? |
