| I've seen this happen a lot. I cured mine by turning off online services for that bank at the "online services" dropdown, then turning them back on. When you turn them back on, Money should connect to the net and give you the option of which accounts to include. You should choose NOT to include the one you don't want to download. Make sure you know which account numbers you are tracking, as that is how the accounts will be presented. Also know your online password. OK. For the account you don't want to download to, if it says youhave transactions to review, right-click where it says you have transactions to read, and select DeleteStatement. Close the account by right-clicking the account and choose AccountIsClosed. UpdateNow-> Update. The closed account should not say you have transactions to read. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Bill wrote: > > > > That is what I do not understand. Money 2007 does not download into the closed account. You could> kid has moved out but still uses the account. I closed the account in Money > but it still downloads all the transactions. I was going to delete it but > Money "threatens" that it will delete all the accounts I have with that > institution if I do that! You could also have the account changed at the FI to not be included in your set of accounts at the institution. |

| I had a joint account for one of my kids that I use to track on money. The kid has moved out but still uses the account. I closed the account in Money but it still downloads all the transactions. I was going to delete it but Money "threatens" that it will delete all the accounts I have with that institution if I do that! Since I have several other active accounts there I really don't want to do that. Any ideas? |
