(nicely put) version of it at many places..

If you know any shops (with address/phone no) that sell a genuine
version I would be gratefull for that info !!

I suspect that for some products the manufacturer says to Amazon "we won't
supply unless you guarantee not to ship outside the USA". I wanted a Casio
watch a while back that couldn't be shipped outside the USA so had to wait
until I had a trip to the US and was able to get it shipped to my Hotel.

There are also some Companies that will give you a US address (for fee), so
you can quote that as the delivery address. Then when they get a shipment
for you they will get it across to your home country and then after a
further fee plus duty plus tax will deliver to you. The only problem is you
have to watch voltages and calculate does the much cheaper dollar price plus
all the shipping etc "add up".

I bought many books and region 1 DVD's from amazon, so unless they have a
different phylosophy
(did I spell that right :-)) there should be no problem really. For me no
biggy anyway, got friends which can order or even put the files from CD on a
FTP server for me to download.
