Default Re: BSOD killed Money 2007

I found information to fix my problem. After searching for the ModName:
msvcr80.dll in this newsgroup, the information pointed to Investment
Performance under contents for the Home Page layout settings.

While the home page was loading upon login, I clicked on 'Customize content
or layout' on the top right corner, removed Investment Performance under
Change layout settings and hit Done. I no longer crash while the Home Page
is displayed upon login.

The problem has something to do with cetain number of investments you are
tracking/downloading information for. Removing some of the stocks/funds that
you don't necessarily need (under the watch accounts??) may also solve the
problem without having to remove Investment Performance content from the home
page though I haven't tried that.

I have a similar problem of Money 2007 deluxe crashing soon after it shows
the home page - while cashflow and other charts are updating. Never happened
before until an hour ago. Already did what 836197 suggested except reinstall
money. Do have a Logitech wireless mouse but it's nothing new and I don't see
Logitech SetPoint installed on my computer. The ModName is msvcr80.dll. I
have windows xp.

Please help. Thank you.

I followed the instructions on removing Money, doing a clean boot and
installing a fresh copy and I was able to get Money running again. However,
once I rebooted back to the normal configuration the problem returned.

Here's apparently where the problem lies according to the info in the dialog
box:
AppName: msmoney.exe AppVer: 16.0.0.1303 ModName: ntdll.dll

Default BSOD killed Money 2007

After a BSOD crash last night while Money 2007 Home & Business was open, I
can no longer run Money 2007 at all. I get the "Microsoft Money has
encountered a problem and needs to close" before it even gets to the point of
asking me for a password to load my Money file. It does the same thing if I
try start it by double-clicking on the sample .mny file, so I don't think
it's a corrupt .mny file.

I even went so far as to uninstall Money and reinstall and it didn't help.

I have to get it working again. Please help.
