Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox may be in IE Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. Put the CD in, and browse to the CD. Right-click setup.exe (if that is present there), and choose RunAsAdministrator. Complete the install. Right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdmistrator to let updates happen. Then reboot the computer. Check that the Money 2007 version is 16.0.*.1303. - quote - > I did not see Money Essentials on the computer when I bought it. > Thanks in advance, > Keatime > "Marilyn & Bob" wrote: > > In any case, I would advise you not to download Money 2007 (unless it's the > > free Trial version). | Well, I previously used of Money '05 but I understand that I cannot convert to the '07 version. So I bought the '07 Deluxe version and have tried to install it, but I get nothing. Not even the window that normally comes up when you put a disk in. I haven't seen that before and thought maybe someone knew a trick because I'm now lost. I did not see Money Essentials on the computer when I bought it. Thanks in advance, Keatime "Marilyn & Bob" wrote: - quote - > In any case, I would advise you not to download Money 2007 (unless it's the > free Trial version). | In any case, I would advise you not to download Money 2007 (unless it's the free Trial version). When you go to purchase it, I would strongly recommend that you get the CD. Otherwise you will have a real problem when you need to reinstall it. -- Peace, BobJ "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:go8823pf0mvd85srmlmkqhpsvc16k2euub[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, keatime wrote: > > I've recently upgraded to a new Dell E521 which came with Vista installed. > > But I cannot download or install MS Money 2007. > So it came with Money Essentials installed perhaps? > You want to install Money 2007 Deluxe instead I would guess. So it came with Money Essentials installed perhaps?> But I cannot download or install MS Money 2007. You want to install Money 2007 Deluxe instead I would guess. Were you a previous user of Money 2007 Deluxe , or are you trying to upgrade the existing install or what? - quote - > Anyone have any ideas? - quote - > Is MS Money 2007 Deluxe not compatible with Vista?
No, not not compatible. Or to put it in other words, MS Money 2007Deluxe *is* compatible with Vista. |
