| Please check the cash contributions account to make sure that the view is all transactions. I'm suspecting you've downloaded a set of duplicate transactions putting the cash there, not matched them up with the transfers you already had there, and, as downloads, these were marked as reconciled. I don't understand at all why the balance in your bank--i.e., not the Fidelity IRA cash contributions--account would be doubled up. I don't do the downloaded transaction data thing. Saves me all of these kinds of hassles. | Hello All, I'm using the advanced register in Money 2007. I opened a Roth IRA With Fidelity and transfered $4000 to it. In money I went to my savings account and entered a transfer transaction from savings to Roth IRA. The balance on the Roth IRA was then $4000, as expected. Today when I sycned up Money with my banks it showed the balance on the IRA account as $8000. If look at the "Cash Transactions" tab in the IRA Account, I see the transaction that Money automatically created when I created the Transfer Tranaction from my savings account but no other transactions. The Bank Balance shows up at $4000 and my ending balance is $8000. On the Transfer transaction I see a deposit of $4,000 with a balance of $8,000. Why is this transaction counted twice? Is this just because all the infromation hasn't propigated to Fidelity yet, or is there more that needs to be done? Thanks all |
