Money can File-> Import QIF and OFX files. QIF is simpler. QIF does
include payee, category, date, and amount. You make one QIF file per
account. If you import more than one file at once. Money can
recognize transfers.

For examples of what the files should look like, make a test Money
file manually or use sample.mny. Then File-> Export.

See Didier's conversion program and links:

Default Importing Data

I am new to Money having previously been doing my own accounts in Excel. I
have data that could be used in money - payee, category, date, account,
amount etc. Is there any way of importing this data into Momey?

Thanks

Max
