None to my knowledge. I suspect vendors of consumer financial programs do
not want to be exposed to the liability of holding your personal financial
data, which includes user IDs, passwords, account numbers, and the like. The
market for their services also is likely small, considering what they'd have
to charge to make a profit.

So it sounds like Microsoft also washes it hands of any data corruption
issue.

As a software professional, I'm just completely amazed at this attitude. I
depend upon the correctness of data for reporting to the IRS. With missing
and or incorrect transactions, I'm now subjected to the time and expense of
trying to recover and re-enter/correct those transactions, and the possiblity
of being audited and fined by the IRS because I got the numbers wrong.

Are there any personal financial packages out there they will guarantee data
viability?

There is a program, salv.exe, but not a regular service where you
send your file to somebody and have it repaired.

Default Data Recovery Service?

I'm a longtime (and now very frustrated) Quicken user. My data is now being
repeatably corrupted and Quicken offers NO data recovery service. Previously
I was a Managing Your Money user and had occasion to send them corrupted data
files which they promptly fixed and returned to me.

Does Microsoft offer Data Recovery Services for Money 2007?
