Don't hold your breath for that happening.> initiating the dowlnload from there. It sounds like they need to adjust their > OFX implementation? If you have missing transactions from that FI frequently, you might consider trying your downloads at a time other than near midnight at the institution. Many make changes around that time, and there could be a window of time when things are in flux. |

Is there an update or a work around? Let's assume so, for now. When Money sends the request to the OFX server, it indicates that it is not looking for statements that were *posted* before the previously successful download date. If you log the OFX file and look at the request, expect something like this in the request: <DTSTART> 20000320 Some providers ignore that field and send everything available. There is a mechanism to ignore duplicates. But the DTSTART does not refer to the date of the transaction themselves, but to their availability to earlier downloads. The tech was giving you speculation presented as fact. |

| My apologies if this is already in play, but I couldn't find it. When reconciling my recent credit card statement I found several transactions that were on the statement, but had never dowloaded to Money 2007. I queried the FI (1st Tech) and they said "Money will miss transactions that are backdated to a date in the past after a recent download. For example if you download today and tomorrow a transaction is posted with an effective date earlier in the month, Money will not look backwards for the transaction. These missed transactions can be manually entered and reconciled." Is this a known Money issue? Is there an update or a work around? Thanks, |
