OK...thanks. It was a dividend that made it's way to the cash account, then
bought into a money market fund. Apparently the dividend also remained in
the cash account but it was really hidden. Drove me nuts trying to find it.
Thanks again!

Thanks Cal for the pointer. The solution in "Method 3" worked but what an
absolutely convoluted way to have to fix this. Just for info...any idea
what caused this?

Thanks again.

Default Cash account vs Portfolio view

Using Money 2004 Deluxe. Never had this happen before but in Portfolio
View, one of my accounts shows a negative cash balance of $1100.84. When I
switch to the Cash portion of this account, it shows a zero balance. Huh???
If I add $1100.84 to the Cash account, it shows $1100.84 in the Cash account
but in the Portfolio View shows zero balance in the cash part. I have done
the following:

Insured that the starting balance in the cash account is $0.00
Voided every transaction in the cash account which leaves a $0.00 balance.
Ran the quick file repair and the Level 2 file repair. No joy.

The problem persists. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated.
