 Re: File location Assuming you are not John9210, why don't we start a little closer to the beginning. When did you last use Money and have your data as you expected? Search your drive for *.mny and *.mbf files.> file. Anyone know how to recover the data? Also, do you have any backups on a different hard drive? | Re: File location (more info) If you haven't done so you might want to turn on extensions so you can view them. Open My Documents, choose Tools, on it's menu choose Folder Options. In Folder Options dialog window choose View tab, uncheck "Hide extensions for know file types", click OK. You might also want to tick "Show hidden files and folders", windows stores a lot of stuff you might want to view in hidden files.
