| I've tried to install with "Run As Administrator" command but I have the same error. I read (http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/403.aspx) it run on Vista 32 bit but I think there are a lot of problem with 64 bit. My operating system is a Vista Ultimate 64 bit retail version, so I've tried to download and install the update http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929427 for 64 bit but It say me that it can't install this version on my Operating System. Help please Thanks, Massimo Cal Learner-- MVP ha scritto: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Massimo wrote: > > I installed Vista Ultimate x64 on my PC and I'm not able to install > > Money 2000 on it, so I can only buy the new version. > There is not a newer Italian version. There is not a newer Italian version. To convert to a later version,> Money 2000 on it, so I can only buy the new version. you would need to use a machine with the earlier Italian version running Windows 98 or XP, and do QIF export and import to the new version. I am not sure you would be able to order it, even if you were successful with the free trial. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;178830 has the process, but there are a lot of limitations in what gets transferred, and what does not. Are you sure you cannot install Money 2000 on Vista x64? I don't know. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927387 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929427 When attempting to install, right click on the icon for installing or initial running and select "Run as administrator". I am not saying it is going to work. You may already know it won't. Let us know what you learn. |

| I installed Vista Ultimate x64 on my PC and I'm not able to install Money 2000 on it, so I can only buy the new version. If I try to open the old version with 2007 it show a messagebox that say: "Money can't open this file because it was created using a different version of Money." Is it possible to convert a Money 2000 Italian file to Money 2007? If yes how can I do? Thanks for your help. Massimo |
