| Hi Henrik, According to what I read in HELP about AutoComplete it is a feature that automatically finishes filling in a name when you begin to Type on the Keyboard. With AutoComplete, Money fills in names you've typed before as soon as you type the first few letters. Money keeps a list of the payees, categories, classifications, and amounts you enter. It offers a name as soon as it recognizes an unambiguous match to the first few letters you type. For example, you might record transactions with different payees, such as Lisa Walters, Dora Lee, and Dave White. When you enter a new transaction and type "Da" in the Payee field, Money will suggest Dave White as the payee name. If you type "L", Money will suggest Lisa Walters. When Money suggests a name, you can either accept it or continue typing a new one. The new name you type will be added to Money's list. | Here is the thing: I would expect AutoComplete during data uploads would automatically assign categories to new transactions to existing payees based on the latest transaction to the payee. So the in a new transaction from 'My Supermarket', 'Food' would automatically be assigned because that category was assigned the last time. This does not work. Can it be because I have to use File/Import/Downloaded Statement to upload my data (my bank does not offer an online solution)? | AutoComplete A Money feature that automatically finishes filling in a name when you begin to type one that you've used before. You can accept the name Money suggests or finish typing a new one.
