If you are in the US, I can't think of a reason why you would prefer
Money 2006 over 2007. Changes are small, but potentially useful...
unless you have certain problems, in which case the changes can be
magical.

It is possible to have more than one year installed at a time. You
have to pay attention during install to select to not have Money
2007 uninstall the earlier version during install.

Also note that if you uninstall Money 2007, you will get a warning
that doing so will cause any earlier versions to stop working too.
Heed that warning, unless you are prepared to reinstall the earlier
version. And reinstalling the earlier version might be trickier than
you think if there were updates involved..

Good point.

OK, I'm going to upgrade. My question is the 2004 to 2007 upgrade too much
in terms of variance? Or should I locate a 2006 version?

Thanks,
Chuck

There should not be a problem in those regard. *Any* chance? Do you
fly?

While we are thinking about chances, think about what situation
would you be in if your hard drive crashed right now.

Most people would not upgrade every year, but rather every two
years. But in any case, there is no upgrade discount.

Default Upgrading from 2004 Small Business Edition ???

I have a few questions about upgrading from 2004 Small Business Edition.

1) Am I correct in assuming that I must upgrade to 2007 Home & Business? Is
this the correct product migration?

2) Are there are issues with upgrading from 2004 SBE to 2007 H&B? Any
chance of losing settings, schedule C stuff, invoices, etc.?

3) Are there any upgrade discounts, or do you just have to pay full price
every year/upgrade?

Thanks,
Chuck
