Default Re: Daily total change

Lets take a step back here. I am getting a change in price per share of the
investment. Today no change in pps. However, when the price does change I
should have a dollar value change. That change should be calced on my end
with Mny 2006, ( stock goes up $1 and I have 1000 shares then the total
change is up 1000 dollars, right?) My other investment that go up/down get
the dollar value change calced. I don't understand the answers from you and
Glenn.

Check the price history of that investment. Was there an "online" update
dated today?

Does the MSN Money website show a current update of the price on the Quotes
page?

Money 2004 did not have that problem. The total change in value should be
calced from my computer in the software. The change up or down of the value
per share is downloaded but the calc should not be.

I believe the daily changes are downloaded. They are not available for all
investments, so perhaps that is why you see nothing.

Default Daily total change

All my investments show an up or down in the total change column for the day.
ONE of my investments the total change for the day is not calced. WHY?
I have 17000 shares and if it goes down .001 why should the calc be any
different than the investment of 500 shares that go up .01?
