| I unmarked the transaction and then tried reconciliation. I had already tried to balance and had to postpone, so perhaps this is why it is not working. What I did was let Money adjust the account. It added the entry as a credit, I then deleted the added transaction. Now when I try to reconcile Money says my starting balance is incorrect. Think I will do the Dick Watson (Oh wait a minute..that is you....lol) FAQ procedure to make the money balance my statement. Thanks I think I will use the adivce in your FAW for "Dick Watson" <littlegreengecko[at]mind-enufalready-spring.com> wrote in message news:u3sGm8MZHHA.4368[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... - quote - > From info provided, I think of unmarking the transaction in the register > BEFORE starting the balance genie. > "RHinNC" <rhinnc[at][get rid of this] hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:%23cdOZbMZHHA.1216[at]TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > > I know this has to be simple, but the more I look at it the more I can not > > see it. > > > Received printed bank statement. | Sounds like some confusion we had last month... Does your bank statement segregate different types of transactions? On our statements they put all the checks and electronic transfers in one section. then, they put all of the ATM and debit card purchases in another. It could be that transaction is on the statement, you're just missing it b/c it's in a different section. |

| From info provided, I think of unmarking the transaction in the register BEFORE starting the balance genie. | I know this has to be simple, but the more I look at it the more I can not see it. Received printed bank statement. There is a debit in my Money 2007 register that is not on my paper statement. When I try to balance the Money 2007 account, it is off by the exact amount of the debit. When I reconcile the transaction in Money 2007 shows it has been reconciled, therefore I can not mark it reconciled. What do I need to do? Thanks |
