1) specify a different install directory for the M07 when you install it.

2) Have a copy or more of the data file prior to the install of M07. The
first start of M07 will offer to upgrade (NOT Import) your data file. Read
the messages carefully and they will tell you about the reserve copy it will
leave behind.

3) You will be able to use both versions, but one version will own all of
the file associations. The workaround is a shortcut to the version that
doesn't own the file associations.

4) You will be able to use your CD for installing M07 on your next machine,
in accordance, of course, with the terms of the EULA.
