Looking back, it seems like OBRES 22063 may be associated with
downloading from a particular third-party FI. Would that coincide
with the symptoms?

You might try disabling online access for any suspects in a copy of
your file, and see if the problem disappears.

A really neat way to find prior postings in this group is to use the
Google Usenet Groups archive.

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search enter words that you
think would be in relevant posts into the "all of the words" box.
Enter microsoft.public.money into the newsgroup box. Consider
selecting Sort By Date.

I am pretty sure that "obres errors are caused by database errors."
would require a pretty wide definition for what constitutes a data
base error. It would not be correct to say that all OBRES errors
imply a corrupted file. I didn't remember you posting that
previously.

where it looks like nobody noticed. I will post onto that thread.

I was told in an email message from a MS help answer that I sent them that
all obres errors are caused by database errors.

He told me that the only thing I can do to get rid of this one and another
that I have previously complained about on this group is.

1) run repair on the data base.

When that did not work he offered the suggestion that I export the data to
QIF files and re-import it or I could try archiving the data back to Jan 1
2007 and see if that had any effect.

Like you I have defended Money, used it exclusively since 1996 and wish
there was an easy way to move to Quicken. But if I am going to lose all the
history whether I stay with Money or go to Quicken, I might just try it.

Default obres:22063

I wish it wasn't so stinking hard to convert back to Quicken. I too keep receiving this message and of course Microsoft is absolutely no help. Does anyone else find their new "help" section infuriating in that they solicit your input as though someone is actually going to read those things! I used to defend Microsoft since I was one of the original users, but they are worse than horrible anymore about customer service.

Bill needs to remember that the reason everyone clamored to them was because they were awesome about helping you back when Lotus 1-2-3 was horrible, but was the undisputed industry leader and they started charging for customer service calls and getting way too fussy about licensing. Anyone seeing a pattern develop here?

If anyone can help us figure out why the accounts won't update, I'd sure appreciate it. I wasted another $50+ on the annual upgrade today thinking that would solve the problem, but alas all I did is pay a couple minutes of Bill's light bill in his little cottage on Lake Washington...
