| I understand that, Joseph -- but I'm not aware of any way to download data from the US Treasury. So how do you download Treasury Direct transactions? -- Michael Gordon "JosephAV" <JosephAV[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9C772123-4DCC-43AC-8B37-4B58425D846C[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > For me, the treasury direct.org initiates the withdrawl, not from checking > account... > The same goes for my mutual fund accounts... > "JosephAV" wrote: > > I have a schedule set up with my funds company to withdraw a certain > > amount > > of dollars from my checking account into the funds company. | For me, the treasury direct.org initiates the withdrawl, not from checking account... The same goes for my mutual fund accounts... | It's possible that you're using a third-party provider for the download - care to identify the mutual fund company? -- Michael Gordon "JosephAV" <JosephAV[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:70F6A090-A291-424C-B516-7F5478815FC4[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I get the transactions from the mutual fund company via online updates. > When > it is downloaded, it does not do detail transactions from what I saw. | I buy bonds from TreasuryDirect (not Legacy) directly from my checking account. All money can download is the checking account side of the transaction, but it can see that as one of the special Buy Investment categories. It doesn't see this as an expense (which I don't think it should) so I'm not sure what your specific problem is. -- Michael Gordon "JosephAV" <JosephAV[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:43E4CBED-A227-4467-895F-9C7365DDB2FA[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I have a schedule set up with my funds company to withdraw a certain amount > of dollars from my checking account into the funds company. | I get the transactions from the mutual fund company via online updates. When it is downloaded, it does not do detail transactions from what I saw. It just shows the final amount. | You should make sure that the two transactions downloaded, one for the cash account and one for the investment account as applicable, become one Buy Investment/CD:[name of investment account holding the investment] transaction. | I have a schedule set up with my funds company to withdraw a certain amount of dollars from my checking account into the funds company. But when I download the transactions from bank into Money via online updates, my "transfer" of money into mutual funds, is considered as uncategoried expense. For example, if I took out 100 dollars to buy funds, it thinks this is an expense. How can I get around that? I have the same problem when I use treasurydirect to buy some bonds as well... |
