| I missed the March login issues, but got the same login errors as all of you on 4/25/07. So far, for 2 days I have not been able to log in with my online account info activated. If someone from the March thread happens to read this again... did the waiting fix the problem? Found this About.com article that may be relevant: http://financialsoft.about.com/od/mo...PassportPW.htm. Just FYI, the MS website suggested in the article was only moderately helpful; but the advice suggested in the article (i.e., just wait and try again later) was (I'm now logged in, just as I was about to start up a Chat session with MS Tech Support). | I have used this product for the last 6 years and bought the new release every year. I am now thinking of converting to Quickbooks. This is totally unacceptable. I can not log into my file, I have not been able to check payments or balances for over 6 days now... I can check my web file using my ID and password, so I know it is not the ID or the password. I will write a letter to Quickbooks about my MS Money experience and give them permission to publish it if they want to. I am not happy with this product at all. i hope someone from Microsoft reads this message and gets back to me with a fix, QUICKLY.... | I'm trying to install the demo version of Microsoft Money 2007 but it won't accept my Windows Live ID. When I click back and tell it to setup a new ID, the web page cannot be found. I followed all of the steps listed in the KB's for fixing this. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Not a good start for Microsoft Money 2007... if there's not an EASY fix I guess I'm going back to the tried and true Quicken. (I was hoping to use Money so I could tie it into Office Accounting 2007.) Thanks. have a new laptop with Vista and just installed my MS Money 2007 yesterday. At first I couldn't get logged in so I figured maybe a reboot would help... It did and I was able to build several accounts... last night (Mar 10) I tired to open the Money to finish setting up accounts and kept getting the login failure... well there are several KB's and other posts on websites about MS Money failures to login so I started going through the list of fixes in one of the MS KBs... I have an update. Microsoft has determined that the problem is only> start the program I enter my email address and password on the first screen > and get an error message: "The email address or password is incorrect. > Please try again". for Money 2007. They will be working the issue. Check back later. Don't reset or change your password in the interval. |

| Cal - that's pretty lame help. Maybe I'm frustrated since it seems the last decent version of Money was in 2004 - we just want the damn software to work! So it seems we're all having the same problem, and for the record: - Try logging into Money with online support, not working - Can log in to Windows LIVE with credentials, no problem - Can log in to MSN Bill Pay, no problems - Can log in to Money, *NO* online support, works just fine ....as soon as I try to synchronize, is where there are problems. I wonder if Quicken is having the same problem?? "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Tom_0127 wrote: > > I've been using Money 2007 with no problems until today.
