| Yeah, I have the same crap going on also. Every time that I enter a transaction that is in my bills/deposits list, my entire computer freezes! I've been conversing with Judy from Microsoft and she has failed to offer any useful help. Here is a link to an article I found by doing a google search for "remove all bills data" - http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=187 Sarah "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Dave wrote: > > Hi, Thanks for the reply. > > > There are no error messages, just a lock up. 18 meg is not at all large as Money files go.> meg. Can money handle a file of that size? If you bought Money 2007, I suggest you contact Microsoft support. I would use the term "hangs" rather than "crashes". | Hi, Thanks for the reply. There are no error messages, just a lock up. The task manager show program "not responding" and the CPU usage "shows little to no use". I have done the file repair (level 2) previously. My "mny" file is 18 meg. Can money handle a file of that size? Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair. If the problem reoccurs, when it crashes, what happens? What is the error message? I would then try File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair level 2. |

| Hi, I've upgraded from 06 to 07. Now it's crashes when I balance an account. The data is still saved. I also sometimes get crashes when adding a new record. With previous versions I "never" had one problem. I'm using XP SP2, Xeon 2.66 and 4 gig mem. Any ideas... Thanks Dave |
