| Perhaps I'm missing something about this question like where you entered this quantity or what version/edition you are using, but: In general, you enter stock quantities (shares) in Investment Purchase or Buy Investment/CD transactions in Cash Account registers or in Buy transactions in Investment Account registers. As with editing any other Money transaction, you navigate to that register and edit the transaction in question. If your issue is that the price/qty/total amount/commission keeps solving for the incorrect number, then delete the price and quantity and THEN enter the quantity and let Money compute the price. If you go to account investment transactions register, do you a see> change. Please help. a transaction with the wrong Quantity? If so, double-click the Quantity, and try to change it. If you don't see such a transaction, what do you see? |
