| The text around the Portfolio is controled by IE's text size settings. So, if closing Money, changing the Text Size in IE and then restarting Money does not resolve it, then as Cal mentioned it may be a problem with your installation of IE. -Mark "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:b2nku21uvc4091mmkfrcnvucqib1did2an[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, nibiery[at]hotmail.com wrote: > > > None of these ideas worked. The text in Portfolio Manager is normal sized and readable, but the pane it is showing in is small. So, there's a lot of blank space inside the MS-Money window. The pane is only showing in the upper-left portion of the window. Ingrid |

In IE7, View-> TextSize-> Largest will change the size of some things,> It doesn't resize when I resize the main window. Buy a bigger monitor. I know you are going to find that a stupid suggestion, but think about it. You deserve it. But do you have the space for a 21 inch monitor, or the Money for a 20-inch LCD? The LCD is only going to help if it has bigger pixels. To be really sharp, the monitor should use a digital interface such as DVI. 2. Switch to a lower resolution if using a glass monitor. i.e., if using 1280 by 1024, switch to 1024 by 768. This is least satisfactory IMHO. 3. On a blank spot on the desktop, right click and choose Properties-> Settings-> Advanced change the DPI setting to a higher number. This will have some downside too. You will have to experiment, and change back if you find the downside to outweigh the upside. 4. This only works for the web-page-like pages: In IE, View-> TextSize-> Largest. |

| When I go to Portfolio Manager, the pane showing all the data is tiny. It doesn't resize when I resize the main window. Minimizing/obscuring and redisplaying the window doesn't make it refresh properly. I am also having odd problems with Internet Explorer (the text of my yahoo email doesn't show up). I don't know if the two might be related. I'm using: Microsoft Money 2006 Windows XP SP2 IE 7 Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ingrid |
