The latest Australian version is Money 2005 Standard

I did a search, and found what appear to be current offerings:

Have a look at http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/5.aspx which says that the
latest International English version is M2005. You might be able to Google
for a copy or maybe find one on eBay.

A US version of Money will refuse to read an Australian version .mny file
(or any other non-US file come to that).

Default Upgrade of Foreign Versions

Hi Everyone

After suffering a computer crash I have been unable to locate the very, very
old disc with my Money software. So, I was wanting to purchase a new copy of
Money Deluxe but the only site I can find form which to purchase (from
Australia) is the US site. I automatically get re-directed to that site when
I select a purchase option on the Australian Microsoft website.

I read the dire warnings about foreign versions and incompatability but I'm
not too sure what the outcome actually will be. I want to restore my last
backup into the new software and continue on in my merry way using the new
software. I never want to convert it into any other foreign version. Is my
reading of the information on the US website correct in that this should not
be a problem for me? The only problem seems to occur if I then want to
convert the US version of the Money file into some other international
version.

Can anyone confirm that my understanding is correct? Thanks very much for
your help.
