| I was dogged by the same problem you cite, Mr. Gordon. The only Special Activities available in my Money 2006 are: transfer an account ..... record a split ..... But there is a good way to enter the transactions manually with the title: Money: How to handle stock mergers or spin-offs in Money http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179585/en-us 911dave "Michael Gordon" wrote: - quote - > Which version of Money? | Paul On the portfolio page there is a "Select a Special Activity". When you select it, one of the activities is for a spin off. Just enter the data as asked. I'm running 2006 and have entered a few spin offs with no problem and proper basis is calculated. Al.
