I don't know why Money would be having the problems. But this should
let you have the chance to save the file to the disk rather than
having it passed directly to Money:

Start-> Settings-> ControlPanel-> FolderOptions-> FileTypes

Select OFX-- Open Financial Exchange File .

Click Advanced. Check Confirm Open After Download to give you the
pop-up box that will let you Save the file to disk.

I just noticed that my MSN synchronization has not been updated in a few
days while my investment accounts are current. When I try to update
manually, it won't let me and says that I can't do the operation now that I
must wait for the current task to finish. However, I am not doing any other
tasks. I have also tried the standard repair also with no luck.

Thanks for your help

In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with
Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles or
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Delete-> DeleteFiles.

Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair again.

Then go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and
select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound. This
appears to be a global (inter-file) setting.

Download again.

Default importing credit card transactions

I just upgraded from 2005 to 2006. Now my transactions from creditcard
companies will not download. I go to the website, logon, and hit the
download and the download box only appears for a second then disappears. I
can't find any information, yet there are new transactions. In the past
(2005), I would get the download box and could select where to download the
file, then go and manually import it from within money. Any help is
appreciated
