Incorrect checking balance on main page

By "actual balance", do you mean the "Ending Balance" at the bottom
of the checking account register?

What is the "main page"? The account list? If not, check the account
list.

You might try File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair

The account is balanced as shown on the specified account page.

The opening balance shows $0.00.

It is set to view all dates and transactions.

dgpmcp,

This is a problem I've not heard of before.

Does balancing the account have any effect?

Check the opening balance information from the
Change Account Settings page.

Make sure your view for the account is set to view
All Dates and All Transactions. Look for anything
weird.

If I think of any other possibilities, I'll pass them along.

Did not change anything. Still shows negative balance.

MS Money 2004. A couple of weeks ago, without making any changes to Money, I
noticed my checking account balance on the main page was negative thousands.
My actual balance, seen by clicking on that account, on the account page,
shows the correct balance. Any ideas? Thanks.
