| So what are those firewall "tweaks"? I cannot open my 2007 file and sign into Windows Live (or connect to the internet from inside Money2007). I purchased a new Desktop with Vista Ultimate and was able to install fine but I cannot connect to the internet from Money. I can bypass the online sign-in and use the file OK. -Rich "Bob Peel, MVP" <bob_peel[at]kiandra.freeserve.co.uk.INVALID> wrote in message news:%23rSudMlVHHA.5060[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... - quote - > Some people have reported problems, others have said went like a dream. > There is a SP2 that M2007 downloads that fixes a couple of minor points. > The enhanced security in Vista means that a bit of tweaking of firewalls > is need to let Money get out onto the Internet. > In general Money version "n" can only convert Quicken version "n-1". | Some people have reported problems, others have said went like a dream. There is a SP2 that M2007 downloads that fixes a couple of minor points. The enhanced security in Vista means that a bit of tweaking of firewalls is need to let Money get out onto the Internet. In general Money version "n" can only convert Quicken version "n-1". So M2007 can convert Q2006 and earlier. M2008 should be able to read Q2007 files. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | Well it looks like Quicken Deluxe 2007 has already thrown an egg with my upgrade to Vista. Is MS Money 2007 having any issues with Vista? If not, can I import a saved Quicken 2007 deluxe back up into money? Shane |
