Was there a support link in the email that you received in the
email that you received when you made your Money purchase? Did it
mention http://www.findmyorder.com ?

I believe that is was the same passport account. I have 3 and tried the other
two and they gave me errors. I can't check out what I had as I am suffering
from the Windows Update Via HD driver update that has destroyed mine and
countless other XP installations!

The fact is Vista is a bug fest. I can't play songs I downloaded in Media
Player 11 XP (won't even import songs). I can't access many websites in IE7
because Vista doesn't think the ActiveX controls are safe! 3rd Party software
works better under Vista than Microsoft products. Sad to say, but those
stupid Mac commercials are true about Vista!

Are you logging in with the same Passport/LiveID that you used when
you made the purchase?

Was there a link in the email that you received in the email that
you received when you made your purchase?

Ran it in Admin mode and it still says it is a trial. I restored my backup,
so it has all my data, just insists it is a trial. It also gave me no
Passport error when I log in.

Reboot Vista. Then in Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer),
right click on the msmoney.exe select "Run as administrator".

Let us know if that does it.

Default Trial not converting to registered version

I just installed the Trial on my Vista installation and when I logged into
Money it did not convert over from Trial to Registered version. This is
really strange as I have had to reinstall before and the normal procedure is
to install the trial, login and update. This time it didn't work. Not sure if
this is a Vista issue.
