Blanked out account numbers

The built in report to show all accounts shows all details, so use that
instead of the restricted account list.

This stupidity started in M06; I put the account number into the comment on
the settings page. Frequently, the account number, even I originally put it
into the correct field, gets masked with XXXX's under unknown conditions, and
I then find myself looking for the paper copy of an account to get the number
back again.

XXXX's and OOOO's to MS on this 'feature'.

Append the account number to the account name.

For reasons unknown to us here, Microsoft thinks this is an important new
"feature" that "Most Users Prefer(tm)".

Seems like stupid pseudo-security to me, but there you have it.

This is trivial but annoying. When I upgraded to 2007 it xxxxxx0000 the
account numbers on the account list. I use this page as a quick reference
whenever conducting business on the phone. I have looked through every
setting I can think of but cannot find a way to display the entire account
number and stop it from x'ing it out. Any ideas?
