I can't speak to Quicken, but in Money bills that are due or coming
up occupy two lines: the first is the payee, the second is red
warning text saying that they're due or coming due. Bills that are
not, are just the first line. That's not *exactly* what you want,
but maybe it will suffice?

There's also a bill calendar. Bills on the calendar that have
been paid have a "strikethrough" font (i.e. it looks like they're
crossed off). Bills that haven't been paid have a normal font.
So if you see any bill with a normal font today or earlier, you
know you have something to do.

Given the specificity of the user interface you want, Excel might be best
for your purposes.

Default Microsoft Money vs. Quicken?

I am trying to decide between Microsoft Money and Quicken. I will use
this to pay bills on-line and reconcile my checking accounts.

I would like the program to show a list of monthly bills. As each bill
is paid, I want it to be highlighted in a different color.

Which program should I get? I have never used either and would
appreciate the benefit of your experience.

Thank you,

Allen
