Previous reply assumed you weren't asking how, exactly, to transport the
file. All the usual means apply. Use your network, USB memory drive, burn a
CD, floppies, laplink cables, etc.

I'd rename the out-of-date file on the desktop ("My Money out-of-date.MNY"
or something) until all is well again on the desktop with the current file.
Copy the current file back to the desktop. Double-click on it.
