| I do seem to recall that 2007 does that with a "North American" version or something. My Money 2006 CD in front of me says "Canadian Edition" right on it though. | If I'm not mistaken, at some point the Canadian and US versions got merged. CDN functionality (whatever might be left) is activated by changing the primary currency to CDN, I think. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL "Cam" <Cam[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:965829FD-8209-4972-8921-492F4F8BED81[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Thanks. | Thanks. To be perfectly clear though - I'm going from CDN to CDN. The only reason the US one is in the mix is because that's all I can find the trial version for. | Cam, I'd suggest a copy of Money CDN 2003 as a stepping stone. I've been doing it now for a few years and work everytime for converting from the CND version to U.S. one fine. If unable to find a copy, I'd suggest seeing if you can find a copy via a peer-2-peer network. ![]() On Mon, 19 Feb 2007 13:35:10 -0800, Cam <Cam[at]discussions.microsoft.comwrote: - quote - > Has anyone got any brilliant ideas? | Has anyone got any brilliant ideas? Are there any CDN trial editions in the 2004/2005 range that I can use to do the upgrade? | I've been fighting with this for a while, and I just can't seem to get it to work. I've tried the KB article about converting via the trial edition of 2004 or 2005, but neither of them work. They both report that the file was "created with an incompatible version." My suspicion is that the 2004 and 2005 versions referenced in the Knowledge Base (913108) is the US version, and is unable to convert the Canadian Edition files. Any suggestions? Is there a CDN trial of 2004 or 2005 available? |
