It is entirely up to the Bill Pay provider on a payee by payee basis
But, as I mentioned the "default" for a "new" payee is to give the bill pay
provider 4 business days.

it did. Then another rep told me Money always requires 4 days. There is no

contact Microsoft to change the days-to-pay value for their bill pay
service.
On the other hand if Money is actually using a different bill pay service
(e.g. MSN Bill Pay), then it is their policy that is taking effect.

Also, in general, a new payee will start with the 4/5 day delay so that the
Bill Pay service has time to process a new payee.
If the Bill Pay service determines it can pay faster, then it can tell Money
to decrease the lead time for that payee.

for asap, it takes 4 (sometimes 5) business days to get paid, but if I do it
online at their website, it can be done the next business day, or at most 2
days. Once I sync money by connecting to the bank through money, it
downloads the payment and has the right day on it.

Question: Why does money not allow you to choose an earlier date for epays
