This is one incredibly stupid "feature" that was added for who knows what
reason somewhere along the way.

Set the system clock to before the date you want to start the loan. Setup
the loan account. Change the clock back. Stupid to have to do this, I agree,
but there you have it.

I have a variable home mortgage and am having difficulty updating the
interest rate because we split the loan (the second loan is fixed and entered
separately in Money) and Money does not want to accept the new smaller
variable loan payment as well as the new interest rate. Is there any way to
do this? Also, Money does not seem to allow one to "retrofit" a loan, that
is, create it in Money after it has already been running in reality for a
while. It always wants a date "on or after today" and won't allow entries
dated before the creation of the loan in Money (but not in reality).

Also, is there a way to view a previous month's budget? The reports are ok,
but what I really want to see is the categories and amounts for the previous
month's budget. Money will only show the current month's budget. I am very
grateful for any help you clever people can provide.

PS I live in Australia and am using the Aussie version of Money 2005.
