I have found that sometimes some programs can interfere with the proper installation of Money. That may have been what you ran in to. --ron |

| Cal, I tried both of your suggestion with no success. The repairing of the money report indicated no problems. Thanks for the suggestions. You can perhaps eliminate the former by seeing if you have similar behavior with sample.mny which should have been installed with your program. You can eliminate the latter by doing a "clean boot". For Windows XP, see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353/en-us and then running Money --ron |

| I am getting ready for tax season and wanted to customize my reports, but no matter what report I choose, Money hangs after I click Customize... on the left side bar. MS Money 2007 sp2 (16.0.120.1303) on Win XP Home sp2, etc After I click the Customize link, I cannot do anything in Money...nothing is clickable, cannot exit, access menus, nothing. The only way to get out is to use task manager to kill the program. Advance Reporting is enabled. If you just let it sit there, the report with periodically refresh the data, so something inside money is working. I have done the standard file repair utility and it detected zero problems. As long as I don't choose customize, the reports work just fine. I really need them customized so that I can choose which accounts to use in the reports, etc. Please help! Jason PS My search of the web and the MS Money KB didn't turn up anything. |
