Default RE: Money 2007 won't accept Win Live ID

Chad,
I finally had success by doing the following.
I went into IE7 Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Sites - and deleted all
cookies that had any reference to Microsoft, MSN or the word "Live" in them.
I double checked that my cookie handling under IE7 Tools/Internet
Options/Privacy/Advanced still was set to "Accept" for both columns and that
"Always allow session cookies" was checked. I then went to a website that
required me to sign in with my current Windows Live password. Once in at
that site, I went back to Money 2007 & tried logging in using the same
password. BINGO! A screen came up telling me I had successfully set up my
Windows Live Password & I was finally able to update my information online.
Hope this works for you as well!

Chad,
You're not the only one, and it isn't limited to Vista. I'm in the same
boat using XP. What I've been able to gather from this & other sites is that
there is some sort of Windows Live/Money 2007 password issue, and the worst
thing to do was to change your password as we both have. I currently can't
even get in offline except with a "new" file that I haven't set up fully, but
it still won't let me "online" otherewise...even with a brand new email ID &
password. I've got a Money Online Support techie trying to assist me by
email. If I have any success, I'll post here.

Default Money 2007 won't accept Win Live ID

Money 2007 on Vista. It asks for my Windows LIve ID and I've tried three of
them. To all of them it says "Your signin info could not be verified. "Go
On line and then try to sign in." I'm not sure what the "go on line means,
but I closed Money and singed in at several places then tried again and I
get the same error message.

TIA,

CH
