You could describe what happened when you attempted the action? You
did X and Y happened. Where did things diverge from what you
expected?

You said you had the *d1.mbf file and the *d2.mbf file and nothing
else. You know where those files are. So I don't know what you would
mean by that. Do you mean that you have one or more drives where you
may find more Money files?

Did you search all of your drives for *.mbf and *.mny files?

The Money backup files are named *.mbf, and are stored where you
specify. The default is to store into the same folder as the *.mny
file.

I suggest you do a Start-> Search of your hard drives for *.mbf to
find the files.

When a backup file is restored, Money will ask if the resulting
*.mny file should be written to the same name and place that the
backed-up file was("default location"), but you can specify a
different name and/or location.

Default Money restores

Where does Microsoft Money restore it's files? The program cannot open my
information. The file is not found. I need to find the restore file and
can't find it.

Thanks
