| In addition, your file is large, but not huge. There's no special reason to try to reduce it in size. -- Michael Gordon "Cindy Conover" <cconover[at]kwfffftrucklease.com> wrote in message news:OuGx4JjSHHA.3996[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > Archiving does not work the way many people think it should. | Archiving does not work the way many people think it should. When you archive, Moeny makes a copy of you file as the archived file. Then it removes the unwanted info for the new file. Normally this does not improve speed. | What happens to unreconciled transaction when you archive? My money file is huge, 55,580KB, I set the date for account adjustments at the opening balance date and don't reconcile it. I also "hide" money in the account the same way, enter a withdrawal with a very early date. If I archive to a recent date that includes these transactions will I create a can of worms when I want to make changes to these transactions? Thanks |
