| It seems as though Vista will not backup to the money folder in 'Programs'. Once I changed the location to the 'Documents' folder, it saves my file w/o issue. | Ok, I called tech support and while going through different things it seemed to work after I: 1) First changed the default backup location to the desktop and performed a backup there 2) Deleted my older backups (made under XP) from the Documents folder 3) Moved my default backup location back the Documents folder I am not sure if all those steps are necessary or even if they did anything but it seems to be working now fine for me. Hope this can maybe help someone else. -Dan "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:8oo9s25ecp7unf4mlpkaku5ohsehmnd8vc[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Dan wrote: > > I am running Vista Business on my IBM T42p ThinkPad and was able to > > install > > Money 2007 Deluxe fine but whenever I use the automatic backup on exit > > feature (with or without compression) my computer just turns off. I don't know what would cause that. If you purchased Money retail, I suggest you write down your serial number, and contact Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/money/ Enter the serial number as the product ID. |

| I am running Vista Business on my IBM T42p ThinkPad and was able to install Money 2007 Deluxe fine but whenever I use the automatic backup on exit feature (with or without compression) my computer just turns off. If I disable the backup it will close however. I am not sure what could be causing this - is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks, -Dan |
