Yes, D is correct. Now that he reminded me I clearly remember that my
unassigned amounts were hidden in splits that had not been completely
categorized.

Thanks D.

Thank you very much. It makes sense and I hadn't found it. Thanks again. Terry

This usually occurs when you have a "split" category. Narrow down the dates
by going to the reports/ monthly income and expenses and look for any
"un-assigned" categories. Once you narrowed down the month, go through each
income category and look for any "split / multiple" category transactions you
may have done. You'll find that you categorized one transaction but not the
other.

This happened to me a couple of years ago. I cannot remember how I fixed it
but I did. It was something odd which I found by poking around in other
reports. If I remember what it was I will post the answer but in the
meantime I am just letting you know that it can be fixed and you will
probably figure it out yourself by poking around.

Default Money 2004 Report Income Unassigned

In my income and spending report I reassigned all of my Income-unassigned
transactions to appropiate category. I still show over $5000 in unassigned
however, when I double click it -- it shows there are no transactions left.
How do I get rid of or correct the over $5000 number?
