| Yes, D is correct. Now that he reminded me I clearly remember that my unassigned amounts were hidden in splits that had not been completely categorized. Thanks D. | Thank you very much. It makes sense and I hadn't found it. Thanks again. Terry -- TD "D" wrote: - quote - > This usually occurs when you have a "split" category. | This usually occurs when you have a "split" category. Narrow down the dates by going to the reports/ monthly income and expenses and look for any "un-assigned" categories. Once you narrowed down the month, go through each income category and look for any "split / multiple" category transactions you may have done. You'll find that you categorized one transaction but not the other. "William R Wood" wrote: - quote - > This happened to me a couple of years ago. I cannot remember how I fixed it > but I did. | This happened to me a couple of years ago. I cannot remember how I fixed it but I did. It was something odd which I found by poking around in other reports. If I remember what it was I will post the answer but in the meantime I am just letting you know that it can be fixed and you will probably figure it out yourself by poking around. ![]() Regards Bill Wood "farm" <farm[at]verizon.net> wrote in message news:25E7EE8A-9812-45A3-A949-506519532B9A[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > In my income and spending report I reassigned all of my Income-unassigned > transactions to appropiate category. | In my income and spending report I reassigned all of my Income-unassigned transactions to appropiate category. I still show over $5000 in unassigned however, when I double click it -- it shows there are no transactions left. How do I get rid of or correct the over $5000 number? -- TD |
